Grassroots Awards Double Winners

Edge of Play Co-Founder, Jack Norbury, picked up the award for Grassroots Coach of the Year at the Cheshire Football Association 2021 Awards in September. With over 20 years of service to the grassroots game, Jack was honoured to collect the award, which recognised Jack’s developmental coaching, dedication and professional approach to the grassroots game. And it was a double celebration, as the club Jack founded 20 years ago, Govan Athletic, picked up the Grassroots Club of the Year. If it wasn’t for Govan, and the approach to coaching and player development there, Edge of Play wouldn’t exist. Indeed, Govan Athletic sessions feature in many of our site’s videos! Well done to Jack and Govan Athletic - something for Edge of Play to be proud of!
